Remember what you are wondering. Well the reason I like to knit baby sweaters and hats so much, they knit up quickly and I'm on to the next thing in a day maybe two.
The pink is nearly finished and I have yarn for another to start. This morning I heard about another baby due soon so now I have a total of 7 baby sweaters to make. All I can say is 1.5 done and 5.5 to go. It will go quickly. I think I might knit up a vest or two to change it up a bit. After all woman can not knit one pattern alone. I had second thoughts when I started the pink sweater. When I tried to pull the end out I got this.
Kinda makes me want to put up the knitting needles for a while. I keep telling my hubby "If we can come up with a way to wind yarn and have no knots we would be millionaires." Until that happens he can get the knots out. Good thing hubby doesn't mind because some of the knots I get in yarn are tight and refuse to come loose for me. I have another ball of Bernat for the next baby sweater I'm crossing my fingers, no knots this time. It is cheep yarn I know, but for a baby sweater that is going to get very little use I guess I don't want to spend the extra money for better. We will have to see I bought other baby yarn for the other sweaters I'm hoping no more knots. Well back to knitting while the kids are playing. Maybe I'll have the pink finished and start the next before night fall. I said maybe I'm not counting on it not with kids.
I was looking for a boy's vest to knit the other day, but couldn't find one. I'd be interested to know which one you like to use.

The baby sweaters are so cute! I really like the purple sweater you made in the earlier post.

I have the same problems with bernet yarn. I love the softness but it always has a knot in the center, never fails! Your baby sweaters of so precious, you do beautiful work!!! Mary

Just surfing by and had to comment..I have the same problem with Bernat yarns...there is ALWAYS at least one big ugly knot in the center! In fact, I got so annoyed I've started going from the outside in! Cute baby sweaters, anyway!
